I turffed my garden a wk ago and watered every day, (other than when rained). The joint are not so green but the rest looks good.

I lift a few sections up and nil seemed to own taken root. Cant even see any roots.

Is this all usual or should i do something about it?
Answers:    Hey Mistique,

I assume you put grass core where a garden use to be, I come up with that is what your sound out means. Turf, depending on the type and pip quality should start showing after 14 to 24 days. It desires to be kept moist. Water 10 minutes 2 times a day. It should come up after another week or 2.
~ Sod will produce root growth even if the top is not greening up but. Watch for very tiny, slim, fuzzy white shoots to indicate the sod is growing. In the summer months, you should see this growth within 3 to 5 days beside proper water. If it is staying green later keep watering and hang about another week before checking again.
