How oodles times did you mow your sward this year?
Answers: 3 times. I like my prairie nice and tight to the ground.
I'm cutting my pasture at a much higher length setting this year to conserve dampen and to help maintain out weeds. Used to cut at 2 inches but this year I'm adjectives at 3.5". But even at this height I'm adjectives it every week. We've had so much precipitation this year that I could even cut it twice a week. So I would say at tiniest 6 times already.
