I have 2 pumpkin plants they are now give or take a few 3m long each, and several pumpkins have appeared, how copious should i grow on each plant ?It seems a shame to cut growing ones past its sell-by date.
Answers:    You can let them all grow & see how oodles they'll produce.
They should grow the normal size of the variety you own planted if they are watered well, fertilized & optimal growing conditions are met.
"One pumpkin plant will normally produce three to five pumpkins, sometimes more. Miniature variety will produce up to a dozen or so."

However, if you are trying to grow a giant pumpkin, first the variety should be of a giant type & then you'll involve to select two of the first pumpkins on the vine & remove the others. The second fruit is insurance in case one fail. Pinch off any that form later.

You don't entail to cut any off if you are growing regular-sized pumpkins.
It's exciting to see how many you can grow :)

Good luck! Hope this is compassionate.
