I have a large chestnut tree and we are digging in close proximity it. It has three large root around 3/4 of a foot surrounded by diameter. I don't want to kill the tree, but removing the roots would be very functional. It is a hot summer and I don't know the extent of the damage it will do. Will it kill the tree to chop some of its roots?
Answers:    Those are key roots and will kill the tree if damaged. However, you may already enjoy killed the tree if you have tattered enough of the lesser root system. The sabotage may not show up for a few years, but each successive growing season will show more damage until it dies.
adjectives roots that large would be like me chopping sour your arms and legs. oh, while i'm at it lets remove that thing above your shoulders call a head.
