How far apart do you plant sweet corn within the rows and how far apart are the rows?
Answers: Corn grows best in "blocks" instead of long get thinner rows. For example, I plant my corn in six rows, spaced three foot apart, with one and only four plantings per row. Each planting is three feet apart, and I put four seed, spaced approximately three inches apart in a square, into respectively planting.
Because it's in a "block" formation, the corn get better pollination that it would in long rows.
Granted, seriously of your "success" depends on how much space you've got to plant your corn within...
Each year that I've been following this type of planting, I've have very successful harvest.
Sweet corn can be planted very close together contained by the row, just a couple of inches. Then water down to 3 to 4 inches apart after the plants begin growing. Rows are commonly 2 1/2 to 3 foot apart. Give yourself walking room between the rows.
