My neighbor painted a fence on our property stripe (with oil-based paint applied with a sprayer) and get paint all over the trunks of some trees adjacent. It looks terrible. How can you remove the paint lacking harming the tree or making it look worse?
Answers: If it's grease based I'm not sure within is a solution to removing it. perhaps rub for a moment oil base paint remover and then pressure purify it off after a few minutes so it isn't on the tree long?
Or perchance, if all else fail (i know this sucks) but you COULD take a TINY bit of the yap to lowes, get a paint color game and (ugh) paint the tree's natural color over the offending white spray. This would be my LAST resort.
I would christen an Arborist and ask for a quote...then see the neighbor something like paying for it.
