Answers:    You're supposed to build a frame around the tree with ample room for growth. Then cover the frame with plastic that allows for sun pallid to get through. Leave the bottom more or less 2 inches open adjectives the way around. That's it, you've get your tree protector. (hint: you might want to build the frame slanted for rain water)

First you enjoy to know how hardy it is . If you know the name, do a survey on the web. Most trees will be fine within cold weather if they aren't tropical. If it gets really cold, I drape sheets over my tender plants. Make sure alll plants are capably watered before a cold snap comes as it protects the roots.
