Everytime I clear brush in my backyard the stumps of the trees I cut down sprout latest branches and eventually make it even worse than since? Is there a passageway to prevent this?
Answers: depending on the stump you may have issues.. have a fruitless mullberry in my patio when i was a kid.. the stumps NEVER died... i done up gettign an axe.. digging em up and cutting them from the root system...
the problem is these types of trees spread from runners (surface roots that kind more trees). so although the stump doesn't make any punch (no leaves) as long as it is attached to the root system it is getting all the dash it needs...
as far as the hole and rock brackish thing.. tried that for a year.. adjectives it idid be make nice pretty green saplings to cut
in attendance is a product you can buy at a nursery or anywhere they sell fertilizer stuff and its a gooey you pour on stump and it kills it but it take a long time.----call your county extension office which is down in the elected representatives section of phone book and they can bring up to date you everything you want to know about trees--grass--weeds--soil--etc
