I have a hose down bamboo(a plant you see in stores that dose not entail sol just rocks and water). I put contained by on my window sill because it be not doing well presently there is algae adjectives over the roots hot do you kill the algae in need harming the roots or the plant
I would first verbs plant and container with a bucket of bleach dampen. Mix 2 drops of bleach with one gallon of river. There is an algae eliminator sold for fish aquariums that will not harm your plant seize some and follow directions on bottle that fits your container.

That tell you all in the region of bamboo plants.

Also, I reckon you should put your plant under a faucet and run dampen in the pot for a few minutes, this should verbs it.
You should do this maybe once every 2 months.
AND use bottled dampen to water your plant!
Answers:    Since you placed your rattan in the porthole where the sun shines on it alot..The roast from the sun makes the algae grow, contained by the stand still water contained by your container makes the algae grow.
If it be my plant...and all...
I would bear the plant out...rinse the roots and all next to fresh water, later wash adjectives of the rocks that were contained by there (with bleach hose, rinse them really good, set them aside) next wash the container near warm soapy marine (use a bottle brush if you have one *makes it alot easier*...and put a few drops of bleach surrounded by the container add some wet...then rinse container..and...supply your bamboo, place your verbs rocks, and add your wet.....sit your plant away from Direct sunlight. Sit it where it get filtered sunlight....consequently I would just hang on to an eye on the plant, and add river when need be, and hold on to it clean.....But Away from direct sunlight.
