i have a lovely decoritive grass plant within a large container. clover have began to hold over the pot. i tried pulling it out but its seems to enjoy re-established itself more than ever. how can i kill it bad without bloodshed the grass?
Answers: Is it really clover or Oxalis?
Either way I would suggest starting over next to new soilless mix contained by the pot. Just repot the grass and check for any roots of the offending plant. if its Oxalis you will find tiny bulbs.
Use a high nitrogen fertilizer to uplift the grass.
A broad leaf herbicide would do the trick. But I quality that it would be quite costly to do that if your grass is contained by a container...just preserve pulling out the clover and over time it will give up.
