I need to know how to get/ preserve pumpkin seeds from a planted pumpkin and to plant them subsequent year, i did this 2 years ago and kept the seeds surrounded by a jar, but when i planted them the next year nil came up, is nearby a secret to keeping them "fresh" or anything?

Answers:    Decide this year where you will want subsequent year's plants to grow. When you carve your pumpkin this year simply plop the pumpkin guts where you yearning for them to grow and voila next year's plants own just be started. My family have used this method for many years and haven't be disappointed yet.
