New homeowner.. we tried sweeping the sidewalk after mowing, but it took forever so we bought a leaf blower. I don't want to look similar to an idiot the first time I use it. Where is the best place to start, close to the house down to the street, or street to the house? Also, where exactly am I blowing the leaves/grass to? A pack or a pile or just scattering it rear to the yard?
Answers: We blow from the sidewalk toward the driveway. When the pile is big we pick it up using a rake and one mitt and put it in the sward waste bin. You want to blow the leaves out from between bushes and the grass and leaves sour the sidwalk and drive so you dont want to blow toward the lawn or you wont be capable of pick them up and I dont blow them into the street because its hard to pick them up beside out getting run over. Just make sure that your neighbor isnt out wash their car when you do the fern blowing or the dust will blow over to make them awfully unhappy next to you.
you know you are doing it correctly when you anger everyone around you! Just kidding! Try and rake up as lots as you can first then blow them into the street or down to the subsequent property like everyone else does. Use ear protection and goggles
