I have a life-size lawn and pulling up the dandilions have become overwhelming. Is there another style to get rid of them short pesticides? Does anyone know anything I can put on them that will kill them?
It's tough, but you own to work on getting your long as thick and strong as you can, next it will crowd out the weeds. We aren't in attendance yet.but save trying. Otherwise, pull as much as you can of the root out.

Garden centers go a nifty tool called a dandelion digger. It looks approaching a long screwdriver, but with a forked tip. You press the tip into the ground alongside the root of the dandelion, and consequently gently tug the dandelion out of the ground ~ root and adjectives.

There are also longhandled versions of this tool you can use while standing up, but these don't give the impression of being to work as well IMO.

I'm an natural gardener and have used this tool for nearly 15 years ~ it does a marvelous career of keeping the dandelions under control, and doesn't lift any more effort than foot spraying the plant with an herbicide. Best of adjectives, the plucked dandelions can be used for salads, feeding your bunnies, and making dandelion wine :)
Answers:    Pesticides gun down bugs. What you want "something (you) can put on them that will kill them" is be definition a HERBICIDE. Pretty much any home depot or hardware store will be relaxed to sell you a backpack of weed and feed or a bottle of weed assassin. If you go next to the dry weed and feed, the trick is to put it down go the leaves are wet so it sticks a bit. Like contained by the early morning when in attendance is dew, or after a light rainfall, when it isnt supposed to rain again for a while.
