my indoor plant kept withering down after few months
they dont seem to live that long, did i over watered it?
Answers: Plants requirement several things: light, food, wet, humidity, moderate temperature.
Light: Give your plants plenty of street lamp, but NOT direct sunlight most of the time.
Food: For most indoor plants which are grown for their foliage, stick with a floating fertilizer like a 10-10-10. I use quarter-strength fertilizer and simply hose down with a fertilizer solution respectively time.
Water: Keep the soil moist, but NOT wet. NEVER consent to a houseplant sit in marine for more than an hour; most plants hate "raining feet" because it causes their roots to rot, and that routine they can't take up wet, oxygen, and nutrients, no matter what else you do.
Humidity: If the periphery or tips of leaves are getting brown or "crispy," increase the humidity around the plant. Set it on a pebble tray, or run a humidifier. Keep the plant away from drafts and heating/air conditioning vents.
Temperature: Most house plants do ably in matching temperatures we approaching - 70 - 75 F; keep plants away from hot or cold window, and hot or cold drafts.
If you do all those things, I reason you'll be pleasantly surprised at how well your plants do :-)
Do they catch enough sunshine?
