While planting some plants around the base of my outdoor lamp post, I cut the electric dash to the post with my shovel. It was single down about 4" deep and didn't own any type of conduit protection around it. Can I just expose some wire on respectively piece, twist together, cover with electrical cartridge and re-bury?

Answers:    You sure can - that probably won't meet code and the tape will draw from wet. I suggest you call an electrician.
