I just bought my first house and the contractor said I should remove the bushes because they are too close to house.

I tried digging them up but it is knotty.

Can I cut them at ground level and walk off the roots ?

If I leave the roots will they grow pay for ?
Roadkill have the right idea. We do it here surrounded by Michigan all the time near bushes and trees. This method removes everything...roots and all. No necessitate to worry roughly termites. If you know someone with a pick-up truck or 4 reins drive and some chains, it is a pretty flawless method.

you can cut them at ground horizontal, then hold someone come by w/ a stump remover & grind them down. bushes grow like weed & may come back.

you could verbs them out w/ a truck.

i have another path that will pull them straight up out of the ground but it's kinda rock-hard to explain in words. an feeble farmer showed my father-inlaw & he showed me.

go and get a LONG chain, wrap it arond the foundation of the bush & the othet end to a sports car or truck. then achieve a solid piece of wood & angle it away from the truck (that end on the ground) the other conclude slightly up facing the bush. when you pull forward the wood will stand up & verbs the bush clean out of the ground. it works for obstruction post too & is easier to show you than type it out. good luck!
Answers:    Depends on what type of plant you're talking going on for. Some will come back from the root. If it is an evergreen, it most imagined will not come back and the root can be not here to rot underground, but there is a accidental of drawing termites before it rots thoroughly.
