Are there any cheap & important ways of ridding this monster? If not cheap then I'll take any other concept.

I am not a mole-lover & not against killing it. And I have no agency of telling if this is one mole or more than one.

Answers:    Pound a thin metal pipe into the ground. Put a whirligig surrounded by the pipe. As the whirligig spins it makes the pipe put vibrations into the ground and moles will move on.
What should I use to 'seal' a stump?
We used to enjoy a lot of moles until we got a cat, consequently the moles would turn up on our doorstep (dead) as a gift from the cat. Sounds cruel, but we don't have a mole problem anymore.
