How do i carry my money tree (crassula) out if its pot? its been surrounded by the same pot for more or less...
its been surrounded by the same pot for more or less 10 years & Iwant to pot it on but its quite stuck tight.
I don't want to smash the pot any..
Answers: An easy path to do it is to use the jet on your hosepipe. It will loosen adjectives the soil and wash it out of the pot departing just the roots losing ... just painstakingly pull the plant out and re-pot.
If it's stuck swiftly and very congested beside roots (particularly if it's a shaped pot with a lip, or narrowing at the top) you will have need of a sharp bread knife. Wiggle the gouge down through the roots half an inch within from the side and saw all the track around and then gain some help to separate the pot from the plant. Don' verbs, this bit of root pruning will not hurt the plant - it will soon recover. Good luck :-)
