Ok my grass right now is 75% weeds!! So for sure i want to ovwer pip it? Im not too sure on how to do it. Cut my grass (or should i say weeds) really short. put about 1 inch of soil, afterwards put high quality seed. Then water everyday for 1 month or until starts to grow? But what i dont understand is wouldnt the weed come back out? When they do what would i use to stop if from the begginning?

I would get it sprayed beside chemicals. Once they are dead, cut the grass on a low setting, bag it unsurprisingly, don't leave it left astern on the newly cut grass (compost the extra grass if possible!). Put a honest quality top soil on the grass, seed it and next water the lawn.

We did this more or less a month ago on a patch of land that was immensely full of weeds. About 2 weeks later the seed grew and a very nice, thick and green grassland was in its place. I believe we used the brand "Scotts" for grass core. I'm not 100% sure on the brand name though. Good luck:)

Answers:    when the lawn is more than partially weeds its time to re do it. Spray round up and start from scratch use a giant quality seed that isn't full with weeds. Right very soon the weeds are coming back because you aren't putting the right stuff down. Pre emergent weed control wants to go down in impulsive spring and any remaining weeds need to be sprayed next to post emergent weed control usually of the liquid form.
