The pool is 8 feet by 18 inches. It's not big, but I don't want fill it every sunshine. I bought pool chemicals, but are they necessary for this size of pool? The chemicals are expensive, but worth keeping my kids healthy. This pool does not own a filter or pump. Are the chemicals safe to use without a filter and pump? I appreciate any guidance. Thank you!
It is much more safer to change the water everyday. And along near that to put about a 1/4 cup of common household bleach into it as a strilizer. If u enjoy pool chemicals then just put for a moment bit in. its a lot cheaper too. near are very nice products for spa's and jacuzzis see what is available.
If only your kids are using the pool, the chemical use is smaller number important - but still you do not want it to become "kid soup" in near and kids tend to leave - um - fecal bacteria where on earth they swim, so some treatment is advised. Look for chemicals to use in standing sea, versus pumped/filtered water. You also need the chemicals contained by order to control algae, which will make the pool more approaching a pond over time by greening the water and forming floating green clumps over time. Also use chemicals where animals might stop by for a drink or to hose their foods when you are all asleep (deer and raccoon slober, who needs that?) So if the pool is on a raise deck, you might slack on the chemicals and just change out the marine now and then, but if it is out farther contained by the yard or used a lot by the kids and not changed regularly - then by all vehicle use some chemicals, even if you end up putting a little aerator submersible pump and filter within it...which we have in our little 5' wide-ranging, 18" deep fish pond and it is pretty cool! we had little pools close to that when we were kids, and my mom would add approaching a quart of bleach to the water, she said it always kill the algae and all, but it was so diluted that it didn't hurt us or bleach our suits or anything, and WAY cheaper and smaller number maintenance than all hte chemicals. try it and see, hope it help!
Answers: I'm a mother of 3 and grandma also and I always put 1/2 cup of regular bleach early surrounded by the morning ,so it evaporates by the time the kids get in the pool . It's secure and it kills pretty much everything but the kids .Although I suggest you ask your pediatrician first.
its not that safe if you dont own a filter i recomend getting one
