Answers:    There's an asparagus fern that can be grown inside, but I don't think this is the plant you're asking something like.

The bush that bares the delicious spears so much sought after in the spring won't grow inside. The plant grows to something like 4 ft. with a spread of something like 3-4 ft., requires a really deep trench to grow within and LOTS of fertilizer/manure to grow well. Also the first couple of years after planting, you shouldn't cut any spears, but donate the plant to grow and establish itself. After that, you can do a moderate harvest a couple of years, later can do a pretty heavy get in after that for many years to come
