This plant was a small plant purchased with several small trunks growing close together. From the soil to the top it have grown to be 2 1/2 ft tall, and I have used a cut up panty hose to gain (tie) the trunks together about 1/2 ft. above the soil. It is a very robust plant, growing taller each week. Should I use another tie another 1/2 ft above the last to keep hold of the trunks together? I want to grow this plant into a tree. Also, when should I trim and how?
