We have a jade plant that is to say top heavy. Last darkness the plant broke at the base. I've looked online, but nearby seems to be adjectives opinions on how to store it -- put the stem in sea, or let it dry out.

Also I'm pretty sure that it be overwatered, and not pruned enough. We enjoy since taken steps to correct that and it was growing fantastically (but with a harsh lean). Though I can't change these things, I would resembling to save this superb plant.

Any suggestions?

Answers:    Don't put it in dampen. Just let the wound unsympathetic over and then stick it directly into moist soil. If you enjoy a branch that is growing too lone you can other clip it off, consent to the wounds heal, and the remove a few leaves and stick it into the soil to instigate a whole untried plant. As for watering, Jade is a succulent and only requirements to be watered occasionally. Jade will let you know when it wishes a drink by the leaves getting a little flat. Normally you would dampen it before this happen, but it won't kill it if you do skulk that long. Over watering will kill it and to some extent quickly by cause rot.
Here is an article that explains how to prune and propagate the cuttings that way you can hang on to your existing plant healthy and lovely as resourcefully as grow new plants. I know it works because this is how I've other propagated my jade.
