I am installing an irrigation system for my home. I have designed everything out and hold the items arriving tomorrow, however, with everything I've read, I hold not been told how to install the come first to the pipe.
I will be using 1" SCH40 PVC and Rainbird Rotors/Spray Heads. What connects the two of these together?
Thanks!

By the way, We put one contained by too and it is fun and easy. An electrician will own to install the box for you (by law).
There are different ways to connect sprinkler heads to pvc. In the out-of-date days people would cut the pvc strip, install a ¡°Tee¡±, thread a short riser into the Tee, and then the sprinkler onto the riser. This is far from the best process since the pvc line have to be exactly where you want the sprinkler to be, and bump the sprinkler and you¡¯ll plausible break the riser. Here is a much better way that most of us ¡°irrigation contractors¡± use.
Rainbird, Hunter, Irritrol, Orbit, and other companies creation flexible tubing that is used between the pvc and the sprinkler. This flex tubing, also certain as funny pipe, has barbed fittings that insert into the tubing. The other cessation of these fittings are threaded, which screw into a female threaded pvc Tee within your pvc line, or if at the extension of the line a threaded (slip x fpt) elbow. Generally the flex tubing is kept around a foot or two surrounded by length, and another barbed fitting is installed on the far end. This barbed fitting connects to a Marlex elbow, and that Marlex elbow is connected to another transposable elbow. The sprinkler head is connected to the second Marlex elbow. The source for two of these Marlex elbows is so that the sprinkler head can slickly be adjusted forward, towards the back, right, or left¡ a bit like individual double jointed. Sprinklers installed in this carriage are less imagined to break when kicked or bumped. Your Rainbird rotors, unless if they are 3500s, would be using 3/4 ¡± fittings.
Review these Rainbird links, which will show you what all of this is. Again¡ other companies put up for sale the same stuff.
Answers: Usually there are womanly threads on the bottom of the heads. You hold several ways to adapt and or gum a male fitting on the pipe allowing the cranium to be connected.
you need cement, a connector with screw inset on one side and an adaptor where on earth one side fits the screw inset, and the other attaches to the sprinkler.
good luck!
