They are all over our neighborhood, and street,!! Would city meeting room help? So several of the trees are dying, they look like they're bedecked for halloween, they average from 10 to 50 nests on each tree. Or is within some kind of company number I can bid ? HELP
It sounds like a big ample infestation to warrant civic
intervention, in my nouns pest control is a county function
not a city one, I would try calling the county.

There are numerous ways to kill such pests as , 'tent catterpillers.'
1) cut down adjectives the trees
2) spray them with a fire extinguisher
3) giant saw
4) chomp through them
5) nuclear bomb
6) rat poison
7) stab each individual one beside a compass
8) SPLAT
9)they detest the smell of odourous feet...especially as the being ages
10) they are allergic to bananas
11) they drown in rhubard, muesli and melt brie.

Answers: The tents are impervious to chemicals. You need to split the tent and apply chemicals.
Another thing to do, on your own trees, is to cut stale the limbs that enjoy the tents on them, and burn them immediately. If you do not burn them, the caterpillars will only just move somewhere else. I would call city lecture theatre and tell them almost the invasion. Many times they will take strictness of the problem. Our county is doing Gypsy Moth spraying now. Granted, Gypsy moths are much more of a problem, but if the tent caterpillar infestation is wild, the city or county will want to know about it.
Wrap aluminum foil around the tree, or put Vaseline on the stump.
The bugs own to go down to drink, and they won't know how to get up again.
Birds don't other work, because they will mostly go down at darkness.
Clean your tent.

I'd call city passage and tell them the neighborhood is anyone invaded. Ask if they have a department that might donate some assistance. They should at least know how to tell you who to phone call next.

They are commonly equipped to control pests of any kind. except for species that aren't permitted to kill... humans, pets, etc...
