Answers: I agree with "meanol-", if it's their pond, depart them be and protect your plants. On the other hand they invade a pond of your making, they gotta stir. Forget poison (non exist that I know of) and use leghold traps without bait around your trees surrounded by danger. Or you can use purpose built beaver traps at waters margin but they are expensive and require trapping skills. They are also lethal so much contemplation must be used around pets. RScott
If you poison the pond you will kill plentifully of other creatures besides just the beavers. Not a moral idea. Also, once it's released into the marine it will be irretrievable.
