I worked really hard to capture grass to grow in seriously that had none formerly but after two days of extreme heat here contained by Texas it is already brown and dieing inspite of watering it after dusk. Help?
You will need a sprinkler system and you entail a heat tolerant fescue. A regular sprinkler will not provide the hose you are going to need.

I live surrounded by the desert where we'll see triple digit temps contained by the late summer.
To preserve my grassland, I mow it high (5-6") which provides shade to the roots, reduce water evaporation, and cause the grass to grow deeper roots. I'll also drop the clippings which acts as a sort of mulch which also help to reduce ground evaporation.
Also thoughtful is switching the watering times to the morning ~ since that grass needs the moisture during the sunshine.
Answers:    Watering in untimely morning lets the soil obtain moist and prevents the grass from getting fried when it is wet. It also prevents the mildew which can grow when the sward is watered late contained by the day. The grass is not dying. It is simply going into hibernation, a technique it uses for self-preservation.
