I asked this last year and I enjoy tried everything that was suggested; moth ball (the cat batted them resembling they were physical balls), tooth picks (just scratched them away), all kind of peppers (didn't even slow the cats down), live traps ( the owners basically let the out when I am at work), etc. I enjoy tried all these...does anyone know anything else, save for killing the cats?
Answers: Cats approaching to dig formerly they potty, right? Make it harder for them to dig. Put down a gravel mulch around your plants. Alternatively, you could find an elderly length of chain join fence, cut it to size to meeting your flower patch, and then apply a branch of any kind of mulch to cover it. They won't verbs through THAT!
If you put a "wanted" ad contained by your local classifieds, you might even get a piece of tie up link barrier for free. If you do get it, you can put it down anytime until that time your plants sprout... they'll grow right up through it! And kitty will look for better digging!
Oh, and one more point... here is a product (which means it's expensive) that would definately do the trick. You enjoy to decide for yourself if you can lay out this benevolent of cash for your flower bed. Look at this join and you'll see a picture of the perfect fix short of massacre your neighbour's cats:

Personally, I prefer the chain relationship fence opinion as it's long lasting and, hopefully, FREE! If you can't get hold of chain intertwine fence, try metal blind that you'd use to screen soil near... if you can find some coarse enough, it should be as angelic or possibly even better than the fence.
Hope this help.
Mark your territory, strategically dump your urine around where on earth you don't want the cat to go and ask the owners to preserve their cat out of your flower beds and graden. Or, invest contained by one of those invisible fenses.
