How can I save ants from crawling into my hummingbird feeder.?

Answers:    I use a trap for this purpose on my feeders. You can see one here:

You simply hang the trap, fill near water and then dangle your feeder from it. The trap will stop the ants. No muss, no fuss and no sticky residues.
Wrap duct tape in a strip nearly four inches wide around the rope or pole that supports the feeder. There is a product called Tanglefoot you can buy at the garden store that you smear on the duct video and the ants cannot get across it. In a pinch you can use petroleum jelly.
