It started out with 1 or 2 the first year...in a minute there are so several toad visitors I haven't even put wet in it this year...There is no approach my pond or pump can accomodate billions of toad eggs. I used to think it be ok but now it is newly one big annoying problem.Last year I took millions of Tadpoles to larger places in 5 gallon buckets.a greatly hard and messy and time consuming undertaking. I am thinking of filling my small pond within forever but I really enjoyed it when it be just a Koi pond...I don't even hold Koi anymore because of the toad problem. I have to know how to drain it now until Toad season is over...Any suggestions or remedys?
Answers:    Consider stocking it next to pirrhanas. You will no longer have a toad problem. And your manly friends will be more impressed than with Koi, I promise you. :)
you could try covering it near a net or wall, or you could check the pond daily and remove any toads formerly they lay eggs. dont be afraid to pick them up, especially if they are fowler toads (medium size and brown) they wont hurt you and they DONT give you wart! lol that is a silly myth. but please what ever you do, dont kill in cold blood them! They are living creatures that are just looking for a home :)
