I have a hammock surrounded by my backyard attached to two trees...everytime you sit down ants crawl down from the tree onto the hammock...what can I do to keep them bad?
you could find a spray or something that would hold the ants from coming near it and so they would stay off of your hammock
Applying vaseline to the end of the ropes that attach to the trees will provide a physical railing ants can not cross... but it won't keep ants from falling out of the tree onto the hammock.
The deeply best way to keep hold of the ants off your hammock, and this works 100% of the time, is to KILL THE ANTS. Wipe them out. Completely cure your trees of ants. No ants to climb onto your hammock, no ants on your hammock.
Answers: What I do for my Hummingbird feeder should also work on the hammock. On the wire that hang the feeder I just wipe some Vaseline on the wire. Oddly satisfactory it stayed there adjectives summer. Just make sure you walk all the instrument around the hanger, doesn't have to be too broad.
