Very difficult to eradicate, poison oak and ivy grow underneath mulch or fallen leaves, or up trees. Repeated spraying of the topical growth and leaves during a high vim part of the daytime ( I usually spray from11 to 3) with Roundup or a strong woody growth weed slayer will work, eventually. Keep it up though, don't get discouraged. Know that anything you spray it with to kill in cold blood it usually will kill adjectives surrounding vegetation, if sprayed on the leaves.
