I live in the UK and I be wondering if there are any schools/universities/academies where on earth I can study gardening and get a level. If not, what is the way of becoming a gardener.
One of the best ways to start is to bring a job at a plant nursery or garden center, doing anything you can, watering, loading plants, pass out, whatever, only be there and ask tons of question all the time from the retail those and and learn everything within is to learn in the region of plants. And read, read, read. Find out what programs there are to swot about gardenning, contained by the US we have Master Gardeners and the university extension groups, maybe there is something approaching that there. Study Botany at a university, Landscape design, entomology, anything you can that will initiate you about plants and insects.

I become a gardener by gardening. Plant something, and learn by doing. I started beside Tomatoes, because I like fresh tomatoes.

25 years subsequently, I garden for a living.

Keep in mind, when gardening, you swot more from your failures than you do your successes.

Last, but not least, muck roughly speaking in your own garden as much as possible, read books beside pretty plant pictures in, and practise identify plants, especially weeds. Play near propagation techniques (seed sowing, taking cuttings etc.). Every bit of experience help. You never stop learning once you start.
