Has anyone ever heard of this? I enjoy 3 new houseplants; peperomia, purple waffle, and spider. Is it possible to own allergies to these?
Dust mite allergies are usually responsible for indoor allergies. The high humidity surrounded by the spring and fall greatly increases their populations.
If you enjoy indoor allergies, you should see an allergist and be tested.

Yes, it's possible. It could be any of them, but it could also be something that was sprayed on them or contained by the soil they are in.

Why do you imagine you are allergic to them? There is a lot of pollen contained by the air at this time of year, so it could basically be coincidence.
Answers:    No - spider is just a grass, peperomia is used to treat allergies so it does not grounds them, I did not see references to allergic reaction for Purple Waffle plant either - it looks pretty safe, though I think it be listed as toxic for cats and it is a less-used plant indoors. I would expect you are react to something else, though - rather than the plants. If surrounded by doubt, have someone "plant sit" them for a few weeks and see if you surface better.
