Hardiness
Rosemary is considered a hardy perennial in zone 8-10 and a tender perennial in zone 6-7. It can be grown in places where on earth winter temperatures do not trickle below 10กใ F. It can also be a container plant as will be discussed later.
I also live within zone 6 and it never has survived the winters for me. I suppose if I were you I would do it since the 1st killing frost.
It is usually treated as a annual surrounded by zone 6. You might dig some up and pot it for indoor use.
Zone 6? Is that surrounded by outer space? Just cut it when it is green and smells pungent.
