I wanted to know if it's ok to use osmocote to fertilize herb and veggies that will be eaten? The guy at the farmers marketplace told me to use it, but the bottle doesn't say anything in the region of foods. I have some planted contained by the garden and some in containers. I live contained by Denver Metro Colorado.
Answers: If it is for Herbs, Don't fertilize them at all. they approaching low nutrient soil. in certainty, Fertilizing them could even cause them to slow growth or even die!
As far as vegetables be in motion, I would recommend just using life fertilizer. it is not expensive and it improves the competence and healthiness not only of your plants, but of your Food and your soil.
herb don't need fertilising they a short time ago need plenty of sun, i don't know roughly speaking osmacote because i grow all my own veg organically (i don't want my ancestral and friends eating chemically soaked food that i enjoy grown), i use horse manure diluted contained by a water butt its great (i also show veggies)
