Slugs keep ingestion my Petunias! What liquis besides water can i use to marine my flowers without have slugs come! Water isn't working. Please tell me the store, product and the cost! Or endow with me the link! Thanks!
when you see the slugs put some table salt from your brackish shaker in your house on the slug. the slug will die enormously slowly about a partially hour before it burns.
brackish is a brutal way to assassinate them though because they are dissolving very clearly.
a safer way for the slug is putting clorine around your plant. a ring of it outside the pot, or around 5 inches from the plant. just take home sure the chorine doesnt dissolve and you plants take it surrounded by because your plant will wilt. the slugs wont pass the chlorine though. the slug wont die, and your plants wont be eat
Did someone tell you marine repelled slugs? If so, that's the first I've ever heard of it. And no, you can't use anything else to hose petunias. There's a reason it's call "watering."
You can do an adequate employment of keeping slugs away from your petunias if you surround them with sharp gravel, any all over the surface or surrounded by a 1-inch thick row around them. Or you can use crushed eggshells or diatomaceous earth surrounded by the same route.
Please don't use poison. Not only do other creatures appendage up eating the poison, but they also chomp through the poisoned slugs.
Answers: You want to control your slugs. Beer is effective. Put for a while bowl of beer in the ground so that the rim of the bowl is at ground even, and pour in beer. The slugs are attracted to it and drown thrilled. You can also try a slug killer--diatomaceous powder that is nontoxic to animals, and available at most gardening centre.(Home Depot for one)
Salt is not the best solution since it will build up in the soil and kill in cold blood your plants too.
Small dishes of beer works, they die happy. Another entry is to mix crushed eggshells into the soil (it will cut their soft little bodies). I did beer first, then crushed eggshells. You can spin the eggshells surrounded by the blender with some wet or just crush them by mitt & mix in. They're dutiful for the plants, too.
