Help beside celosia plant? When this plant was given to me, it have many wide purple...

When this plant was given to me, it have many wide purple blooms. I have it outside, beside full to partial sun exposure, and it was doing okay - no clean blooms, though - until I neglected to water it for two days. When I checked on it, the blooms and leaves be drooped over. I immediately watered it, and kept my eye on for the subsequent week or two, but it never seemed to get better, and the blooms changed from deep purple to almost white.
My neighboor suggested I trim it by removing the drooping leaves and blooms, which I did.
It's be well over a month, and it's still nearly lacking hair and very discouraging looking.
Any advice? Can it be save?
Answers:    Some plants produce seed consequently decline - their life cycle is complete. amass some seeds to start for subsequent season.

Did you aerate the soil? If not it could be why the plant is continuing to fail, not ample water to the roots. Think celosia is an annual and unless brought inside during colder weather it will die.
Be tolerant you put the plant in shock! I don't know where on earth you live but they are an annual meaning they lone live once and you must replant every year. Cold weather will kill it.
