why are my tomatoes splitting?
Irregular watering. The insides are growing faster than the skin so the skins split. Water them on a regular schedule. Uneven or excessive watering.
most common reason is too much dampen. Irregular watering is supposed to cause the problem as well, but it's be my experience that it is from over watering. Here is a site that may help.
