I want to cut the whole item down. How do I remove the large spikey plant, do i requirement to dig the roots out as capably or something?
Answers: If you want to remove the whole plant yes you will own to dig up the complete plant including the root ball.
Roses are thoroughly trainable; why not just cut it put money on to something more manageable, and don't allow it to grow uncontrolled again? In colder climates, don't do this until Valentine's Day, when the sap is just around to rise.
