Answers: I believe that Cosmos are annuals. They don't come back every year. Unless you are surrounded by Zone 9 or 10.

I found a link just about them. I like this plant too and hold been thinking in the order of getting one.
You're winters are probably too harsh for it. Mine probably are too.
