Help! Does anyone know why the blooms on my lillies are dying in the past they open out? There are a ton of blooms on my lillies but they all...

There are a ton of blooms on my lillies but they all die before they own had a chance to unequivocal! I live in Idaho (zone ?), and I have them contained by a huge raised garden that has a range of rocky, sandy, woody soil. The plants recieve mostly full sun with partial shade surrounded by the evenings. The plants themselves seem to be bright green and hardy but the blooms never open. Some of the blooms give the impression of being to be either dried out, or slightly moldy inside when I pluck them off (when it's blatant they are dead). When I first planted them they bloomed like crazy but now they simply will not depart! Can anyone help me please?
Answers:    The first answerer seemed to deduce you were talking in the order of water lillies, but I'm thinking you are talking almost regular lillies. My guess is the fungus Botrytis, which attacks the flowers and leaves in humid weather. However, this also attacks the leaves, appearing first as white spots which eventually cause the leaves to turn brown. See the first two links below for more info.

If near are no indications of Botrytis on the leaves it is possible a sucking insect like thrips is responsible. I'm in Central Texas and thrips appear surrounded by April/May, so the timing is right for you to have them in June. The third connect below talks about thrips. These tiny insects suck the juice from flowers and buds ruining them.
I checked this one out and found that there could be at least a couple of cause. One being a tiny insect called a thripe. I deduce there is a plant dust for it... but you could ask at your local nursery and the other common exact is water. Too much will cause the rot... hope this help a little probably the water..
