we just hade a pond made and it looked like the guy packed like sardines the dirt in good but today it be leaking from the bottom .also their s lots of clay in the dirt.me and my dad dont know what to do.plz facilitate and no bs ansers.serious only.

Probably gonna enjoy to drain the pond to find the leak. Make them fix it for free cuz it was their mistake. Is it inground? Usually they stripe it with thick plastic stuff so that doesnt take place. If it is, and they didnt, make them or you'll keep have problems

i would say call the guy who put the pond it. he should be feeling like to come fix the problem, especially if it's from a mistake he made.

Ponds are frequently lined beside Bentonite which is a form of clay that expands when wet. Aleaking pond can sometimes be plugged by stirring bentonite into the water. The flow of hose out the leak will draw the suspended clay to the leak and form a plug. Beware though, if you hold a sizable pond it will require ALOT of Bentonite. Contact a local well driller for a source of Bentonite - they refer to it as "Drillers Mud".

If you have a ample pond wait until the pond dries. Have the clay, not the dirt, moved to where the outflow was and pack in the adjectives surrounding area. That should work.
