Answers:    Yeah I reckon so, although I personally wouldn't do it. B. serrata have relatively large, serrated, wrinkly leaves. I consider it lends itself to that typical Aussie sprawled, passionate look. I don't know why you'd try and make it look "neat". But if you must, we enjoy a row of them along the front of my parent's property (Port Stephens, NSW) that are about 8 or 10 metres high now. Every few years they re-invade the powerlines and Dad (or the council) get's surrounded by and hacks the cr*p out of them. They distinctly don't mind a hard pruning because they re-sprout everywhere swiftly even when the limbs removed are greater afterwards 20cm in diameter. Good luck.
