They are bold and if you are in a town relatively often used to mortal pestered by Human Activity, one good course of detering them is get a cat, or failing that (a bit extreme) try some squirrel powder, fragrant to send them running the other method availiable from most good Hardware and Garden Centres.

Some twerp brought some over from USA. they incursion song birds nest to steal eggs and even newly hatch chicks. they are vermin, they almost destroyed our superb red squirrel. they should all be poisoned by our councils as the adjectives rat is.
