Grubs contained by grassland Does anybody hold a home remedy for these critters?
Bird feeders. Attract birds. Birds eat grubs.
1) Purchase beneficial nematodes from your local gardening center. These are microscopic organisms that feed on larva. Mix the nematodes with sea as directed on the package, and spray your grass next to the mixture.
2) Keep your lawn lightly-watered to assist offset the root mess up caused by grub worms.
3) Attract worm-eating birds close to robins and other song birds to your backyard. They are typically fond of eating grubs for breakfast.
Tips:
Do not purchase nematodes unless they enjoy been stored within the refrigerator.
Answers: Invest in some beneficial nematodes. They are undisruptive for pets and children and environmentally friendly. There are a number of companies that deal in them (Gardens Alive, Forestry Supply Products, etc.) My only opinion is that when you get them, clear sure that they are supplied by Becker Underwood -- I have found that this company have the best nematodes and most other companies have fairly poor products by comparison.
