I am from pennsylvania and I am going to plant watermelon and peanuts, I have already planted other things and they are growing ably, does anyone know if in the pennsylvania/ohio/westvirginia nouns how watermelon do in this nouns or peanuts? I have tried probing for an answer and cannot find something useful.
Answers:    Watermelons similar to hot sunny weather with plenty of moisture and a rich soil (add some composted maure to the panting hole) They are not the easiets entity for thee home gardener, but you should be able to produce at tiniest a small melon or two Most take a long time to grow (80-90+days), so at this point I would try to find some plants at a garden center fairly than plant from seeds. (You should hold started the seeds indoors contained by late april.) Or, look from smaller 'icebox' hotchpotch watermelons that mature contained by a shorter season (60 days).

I don't know peanuts about peanuts, but I have an idea that they need a long season too.
Watermellon will want a lot of dampen since they are 80% water. They have need of the same nutrients other plants inevitability, but they need a voluminous area to spread out.
Peanuts are a Ligume. They will stipulation lots of nitrogen in the soil to thrive. Look for a fertilizer that have a high nitrogen plane.
