I bought a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch a few weeks ago, and im carving it right now. While I be getting out the goop from the pumpkin and sorting through the seeds, i notice that a lot of them hold green things or roots sprouting from the top of the seeds. Why did they start sprouting inside the pumpkin? also, me and my brother be wondering if we can plant them and they would grow or not. Thanks
Answers: they have started sprouting probably due to high temperature at the time of year, yes if you plant them they will grow fine( just mind your Ps and Qs no to knock of the green roots)
