my pond water is green. i know that means-ALGAE! BUT-when i took the water to be tested the guy said it have a high ph and my father always puts within algae block and water conditioner before this happen. so the guy gave us ph reducer liquid. it didnt fairly work. so me and my sisteremptied all the water out and took the fish out into a seperate bin next to the original green water within it. the water was gone and we scrub algae off the sides of the pond and it was pretty much spotless. a few days next the water returned to being green and the fish continued to die but not that swift. what do we do?
Is it the green split pea looking wet?
Do you have a UV light?
You a moment ago have to have the UV to hold that particular type of algae out and your water crystal clear,
The size of the pond will depend on the size of the section.

Purpose of the UV and bio/filter
UV light has two primary uses surrounded by fish culture: Controlling green water and disinfecting the water supply.
I use 24 wats and mine is 2000 gallons.
You will also want a pump according to the size of the unit and the pond.
Use a Pondmaster they rarely ever be in motion bad and the only entry that ever need to be done is to replace the impeller. They are magnetic drive ** uses no grease that can leak out **

Having a pond is expensive but so worth it.
I also use this
PondCare Pond-Zyme Plus with Barley
* All-natural bacterial hose conditioner cleans and clarifies pond water
* Breaks down sludge and other organic squander material that pollute pond water
* Prevents natural buildup that clogs pumps and filters to simplify pond maintenance

GOOD LUCK!
This is my hobby!

If it were me I would basically buy a few algae eaters it would be cheaper than having to empty it and crawl it again and it would save you a lot of time because you wouldn't own to clean it there are probably lots of phosphates surrounded by the water. algae feeds rotten of phosphates. get something called PhosFree.
Answers:    the high pH is probably coming from rain marine. You should use a charcoal scrubber in the pond as well as a pH balancer. You could also use a Plecostomus. I worked at walmart surrounded by the pet dept. One tank when completely green one weekend i was gone. I started taking out adjectives the dead fish and the pleco was of late fine. the tank went impossible and for a couple of days and it still survived. they are very strong.
