I have added 2lbs of sickly out followed by 2lbs of shock. When I got up this morning the algae be still there. It have usually gone after a night of running the pump. I hold just added another 2lbs of shock. Any tips on algae? I win it every summer but I have problems getting rid of it plus it get expensive.

how many gallons do you enjoy? 2# of yellow out will just treat 15,000 gallons of water. Yellow out prefers a glorious pH to work, the manufactur actually recommend 8.2 to be exact. Sometimes the algae will be dead but still remain within the pool. Try turning the pump off for 12 hours and letting adjectives the algae settle to the bottom, then vacuum to consume. Don't run it through your filter or it'll probaly just return through the filtler. Cleaning the filter other helps too. Different filter require different methods.
